Guidelines
Host Code of Conduct
Honest, clean and respectful hospitality — every time.
Last updated: June 2026
What we expect from every host
- Provide clean, respectful, family-style hospitality.
- Share accurate information about home, food and facilities — never overpromise.
- Respect guest privacy and family space.
- Inform Back2Village before any change, delay or problem.
- Maintain basic hygiene in kitchen, sanitation and serving practice.
- Keep pricing and service transparent — the agreed package is the agreed package.
- Never ask guests for extra unofficial payment, tips or gifts.
- Report emergencies, conflict or guest misconduct to Back2Village immediately.
Child, family and female guest care
Special care is required for children, women and elderly guests. Female household members should be present where appropriate. Risky activities (river, fire, animals, sharp tools) must be supervised.
Money and gifts
All payments are handled through Back2Village. Hosts must not solicit money outside the platform. Modest gifts brought voluntarily by guests are allowed.
Verification and continuous review
Verification is not one-time. Back2Village may revisit, review and pause any host based on guest feedback, safety concerns or community reports.
